Sikh wedding preparation

I was invited as a guest to this wonderful wedding, but took my camera along and so glad I did! The haldi ceremony didn't have an official photographer so I stepped in and was able to capture the emotions and laughs. The following morning, I travelled to where the bride was getting ready and was able to take some amazing images of her having make-up applied, hair being done and wedding dress being styled. It felt very special!

Sheffield is an awesome city!

Sheffield played host to the ceremony (Guru Gobind Singh Ji Gurdwara) and reception (OEC Sheffield) - I love our northern towns and cities!

It was a lovely day - the weather was perfect, children ran around the venue with oodles of energy, adults danced away and the bride and groom lovingly obliged for photos and video. A special time with special memories...
